"Formerly a journal, Disputatio is now a book series that publishes interdisciplinary scholarship on the intellectual culture and intellectual history of the European Middle Ages. "Polis is a refereed journal which was founded in 1977 to provide a forum for scholars specializing in Ancient Greek Political Thought. Originally the Newsletter of the Society for Greek Political Thought (UK), Polis has over the years evolved into a full-fledged academic journal that publishes material of interest to those who study ancient Greek political thought, whether they do so as classicists, ancient historians, philosophers, or political scientists.... "Political thought" is not defined narrowly as political philosophy but to cover political thinking at all levels, and thus the study of political institutions and practices, history, and literature are all included.... "Social Philosophy and Policy is an interdisciplinary journal with an emphasis on the philosophical underpinnings of enduring social policy debates. The issues are thematic in format, examining a specific area of concern with contributions from scholars in philosophy, economics, political science and law. While not primarily a journal of policy prescriptions, some articles in each issue will typically connect theory with practice.
